Air Force Space Command Weather Operations

Integrate terrestrial and space weather intelligence into Air Force Space Command operations. Provide functional oversight for AFSPC units applying terrestrial and space environmental support to AFSPC and NORAD operations. Advise the command on the impact of the terrestrial and space environment on AFSPC systems and operations. Develop weather operations policy, procedures, and standards within AFSPC. Develop, collect, and document AFSPC terrestrial and space environment requirements. Translate AFSPC weapon system performance specifications into detailed space environmental requirements. Coordinate space-based space environmental sensing requirements among various DoD agencies, including AFWA and HQ USAF/A3O-W.
