Air Mobility Command Weather Operations

Air mobility weather operators develop and provide processes and guidance to enable the safe, efficient, and effective employment of airlift, air refueling, special air mission, and aero-medical evacuation operations for the maximum intended military effect. Develops weather operations policy and standards for AMC operations. Provide advice to command leadership on weather impacts to AMC weapon systems, operations, and forces. Develops, manages, and monitors weather force readiness and deployment capabilities. Provides guidance to USTRANSCOM as the Senior METOC Officer. Functionally manage 12 flights, an Operational Weather Squadron, and weather forces assigned to the TACC and two contingency response wings.
